Ephemera

Ephemera was born from the death of one half of a binary star system; she has lost her other half, who is nowhere to be found. She traveled the skies, seeking them or any hint of where they might have ended up, without any luck at all. Eventually she found herself in the service of a king, presiding over the land of the dead; she believes that if she can gain an audience with him, she can find her missing partner --- or at least learn if they still live.
