sunshine

This planet was bright, it was beautifully sunny and comfortingly warm. Just how Mori preferred it. Her eyes gently shut amidst the light of the star that lit the planet. Was it the Sun? Possibly so, perhaps not. Mori didn't question whatever it was that was putting warm light through her silken orange and hazelnut fur. Her stardust twinkled beneath this light, making her gracefully radiant.

The grass was smooth and light beneath her paws, textured like the soaring clouds. Her enthusiasm only continued to blossom wider as the breeze met her sun caressed face with it's gentle spring kiss. It was finally time that she lay, but staying still was not much of an option for Mori. Who instantly began to roll around, marvelling in the limelight of the sun. This planet was her stage, and she was the glorious dancer with no audience. Free to do and be as she pleased without judgement from anyone.

She rolled flat on her back, extending a paw to the sky as if reaching to embrace the warmth. This star's ambience was like nothing she'd been graced with, it was so inviting and kind. The entire planet was welcoming to her, as if this is where she was meant to be. As the crisp wind wove its way through her fur once more, her eyes gently closed against the warmth.

Rolling back over onto her legs, she moved to sit. Grass stuck to her pelt, which she didn't really mind. Unfortunately, as much as she didn't want to leave, she had something important to do today. Reluctantly, Mori rose to her paws and began to slowly bound off. But, soon she stopped, looking down at the ground from her raised position in the air and sighing. How it pained her so, she didn't want to leave just yet! Scrunching her snout, she pondered momentarily. Until a wonderful idea struck her! What if she stayed, just a little longer? A few more minutes wouldn't hurt, right...? Surely not, after all, whatever it was she was going to occupy herself with couldn't possibly be that important. Besides, she'd only be staying a few more minutes...

Though, time flies when you're having fun.
