What the corn?!
After sending Ptolemy to the haunted house and laughing his butt off, Oubliette made his way over to the corn maze that was said to be very scary. He was pretty good at puzzles and mazes, being named after an endless one it was only fated to be so. This was going to be something creepy, he was sure of it, but there was no need to fret as he didn’t get scared too easy.
With a smug smirk on his face, he got into line to go through the stalks of corn and readied himself to see what kind of costumes the actors would have on. It was more about the creation of the monsters and the quality to him. Fear just made him laugh and he couldn’t help it when running away from chuckling even just a little bit.
“We’ll see just what they have in mind for the scary monsters and just what kind of path they’ll have us on~ It shouldn’t be hard to get through this, so I am excited to see what’s in store for all of the scares~” Oubliette smiled and made his way to the front of the line as it moved along to his turn.
There wasn’t too much outside of the normal bits that he noticed before a creature popped out in front of him, it looked a bit silly, but he couldn’t help but grin. It was more fun than something that would cause him to be terrified.
“This is such a fun maze! The monsters look so realistically interesting!” He exclaimed as he trotted past the creature and made his way along the maze.
After a few more scares and twists of the corn stalks, he made it out with tears in his eyes from his enjoyment. It was something he was looking forward to and he wouldn’t give up these times of the year for anything. This was such a ball!
Walking along by the maze again he thanked all the actors he had passed that chased him out. The holiday was turning out to be one of the better ones.
That was… Until Ptolemy enacted his master plan to scare Oubliette for the way he pushed him into the haunted house. He waited behind a bush before he snuck out and then made creepy sounds before turning on some lights on the costume that Autra helped him put together.
This caught Oubliette off guard, and he let out a bit of an actual yell before he pouted and got a bit angry.
“You didn’t have to do all of that! I was gonna make it up to you later for the haunted house…” Oubliette huffed out.
Ptolemy was the one laughing this time and he couldn’t hold back from that this time.
Oubliette rolled his eyes and sat there to wait for him to stop, having had a good time anyway despite the scare in the end from his friend.
