Candy Hunting!

Lumino was one for candy of all kinds! His markings and all about him just screamed out that he loved sugary sweets. There weren’t many that he didn’t like, and he would eat just about any of them, so when he heard that his friends had stashed some candy in their houses for a fun Halloween game of hunting for the treats, he was all for it and ready to play.

He enjoyed the times that he was able to hang out with all of them and the plus of candy presents made him that much happier to participate.

“Gee! That sounds like a load of fun to me! Sure! I would love to play with you guys!” He announced as he bounced a bit on his paws that were a bit clunkier thanks to his overgrown claws.

Lumino went around to each of the homes he had been invited to and had the task of finding the ten pieces of candy hidden around the places of different sizes. This would prove to be more difficult than he thought, however, with the well-kept areas of the homes and things masking some of the scents the sugary sweets left behind to track them down.

It didn’t take too long to work his way through the first and second places, getting all ten pieces in them and placing them in a bag he had brought for the special occasion. It wasn’t too full yet, so he wasn’t too worried about eating too much.

That didn’t stop him from eating a piece or two in the walk from the last home he was at to the next. Two small candy bars down and a whole ton of gummies and various hard candies laying at the bottom of it. This bag would take a lot of candy to fill completely, but even so he wouldn’t eat it all if that were to be the case. He didn’t want to get sick of his favorite treats just because he got a bit greedy one day.

“There’s gonna be a ton of candy in my home once this is all over and done with! This is so much fun so far!!” Lumino bopped along with his wrapper crinkling bag at his side.

The next two houses were just like the others before, and he took his time to get the other pieces to get more fun out of the hunt. The thrill was just too much to miss out on for him and there would be no sense in hurrying through it!

Once those had finished, he thanked all of his friends, but they said they had one more surprise for him and the two he had just visited walked back to his home with him.

They had hidden twenty pieces in his house for a surprise when he returned with the others. This was like a dream come true with all the candy that had been brought along by his friends and some of those hidden in his home were handmade as well.

He couldn’t wait after hearing that and nearly tipped his house over finding all the rest of the yummy treats from his friends.

All in all, this was a fun way of trick or treating he hadn’t thought of before and hoped that he could do something similar on future Halloweens to come.
