So, you want to make your own Luminite, you say? Well, you're in luck, because it's quite an easy task! Just follow these steps and you'll have your own Luminite in no time!

STEP 1 - OBTAIN AN MYO SLOT

Luminites are a closed species. This means you cannot obtain an MYO slot for free (unless it has been given to you via a gift or obtained during a free MYO event). 
You can obtain an MYO slot by either purchasing from our on-site store with QuBits, our in-game currency (no real money required!), trading with someone in our Discord, or purchasing one with real money on our Discord.

STEP 2 - DESIGNING YOUR LUMINITE

Now that you have an MYO slot, what do you do?
First, let's go over the most important parts of a Luminite's anatomy with the help of our wonderful mascot!

Let's go over the key traits shown!

• 1 | Fluffy Neck - Luminites have long, thick fur located primarily on the back of the neck and chest.
• 2 | Black Hole - Born from dead stars, Luminites carry a part of their dead star with them in remembrance. Black holes take on many different appearances! Black Holes are typically a dark color, but they do not have to be pure black. The surrounding colors of a black hole can be any color
• 3 | Stardust Paws - Though it may be hard to see, all Luminites have paws made of stardust
• 4 | Stardust Trail - Any parts of a Luminite's body that holds stardust leaves behind a stardust trail
• 5 | Long Body - Luminites have quite long and lanky anatomy - primarily shown in their long bodies and legs. Their anatomy is comparable to that of a fox! Despite this, their snouts tend to be on the shorter side.
• 6 | Stardust Placement - Luminites have stardust located on the bottom of their tail, inside of their ears, paw pads, and horns on their head.
• 7 | Stardust (general) - Stardust may be made up of any colors or patterns that you see fit. Stardust that includes noticeably complex patterns (i.e. scenery) are, however, an uncommon trait (This point is not on image above)

Once you've grasped this, you can go on to look at our visual traits list! Keep in mind that some traits have important notes, so be sure to click on a specific trait to learn more about it!

Here you'll find a clear, comprehensive guide of all possible standard Luminites traits. You may also see event traits (categorized by what event they're from), but these may only be obtained during their respective events. You CANNOT apply these traits if you do not own that specific trait mutation item!

STEP 3 - SUBMITTING YOUR MYO SLOT

If your MYO slot is an item and not yet uploaded to the masterlist, please untoggle the below spoiler to learn how to upload it to the masterlist!

Go to the profile of your MYO slot on the MYO slot masterlist (can be accessed via your profile on the sidebar under User) and look on the sidebar under Settings for SUBMIT MYO DESIGN

After that, you'll be brought to a page that allows you to fill out the necessary information for you to create a design request. Be sure you are thorough and that you've filled out every section correctly and don't forget to save as you go along!

WHEN SUBMITTING, KEEP IN MIND:

• You have filled out all the necessary traits for each section (fur, eyes, ears, black hole stardust, stardust trail, etc. - we recommend referring to the visual trait guide as you go along with your submission to make sure you have everything)
• Our mods are people with lives as well. Because of this, they may be a bit slow in getting to your design request, but we will get to it as fast as we can!
• If your request is canceled we will let you know what you have to fix
• If you have a rare or mythical trait item applied to your Luminite, please be sure to select the character rarity that applies to the rarest trait on your Luminite
• If submitting a CBC, please put a note in your MYO submission of what your character's primary source is! The following are all considered CBCs:
  • Characters inspired by individual fictional characters
  • Characters inspired by video games or video game franchises
  • Characters inspired by music (whether that be songs, albums, album covers, etc.)

THUMBNAILS must BE 200x200 AND CROPPED TO THE FACE

THE MAX IMAGE SIZE IS 2000X2000

If your thumbnail is not properly cropped and sized, we will decline your submission. Please keep in mind that the website sometimes fails to load the uploaded thumbnail image properly. If you uploaded it, trust that it's there!
