Novapeach

The novapeach, also known as the starpeach, is a juicy, domesticated, edible fruit found growing on novapeach trees. It's most commonly cultivated in the nothern regions of Vaseira, where it can be most efficiently grown due to its temperate climate.

The novapeach was initially discovered naturally growing in Dioscenus, initially taking on a much rounder form that was filled with bitter juice sacs. The fruit was bred over centuries to perfect its sweet flavor, especially in relation to the points, which hold excess water in a "sacs" and converts it into sweet juice.

CULTURAL IMPACT

Novapeaches are an incredibly popular hot and bloom season snack, as around the transition between these two seasons is when these fruit are most ripe for the picking. During Bloomtide in Vaseira, Luminites will often gather together to go picking for unripe novapeaches. The juices of unripe novapeaches are a popular addition to sweet, fruity drinks with a bitter twinge.
