Would you like to have your very own Luminite? Well, why didn't you say so? Luckily for you, the process is quite easy!

 

Luminites are a closed species made by gerard with the help of the mod team. This means that to create an official Luminite, you need to obtain an MYO slot. In case you don't know, MYO stands for "make your own" which means that you create the characters! MYOs are not free unless one has been officially given to you (either by a staff member or a friend who owns one).

I'll guide you on how to make an account, how to submit MYOs, how the currency works, and anything else you need to know!

ACCOUNT CREATION

If you want to participate in our species, you MUST have an account. Thankfully, they aren't hard to make at all! You make an account just as you'd make one on any other site.

  1. REGISTER HERE - You will have to add your email address not only for verification but also to have the ability to get your account back in case you forget your password. You will also choose a username and a safe password.
  2.  VERIFICATION - You will get a verification e-mail on the e-mail that you have used in the registration progress. To be able to access more of the site you have to verify it. Simply follow the instructions listed in the e-mail!
  3. LINKING TOYHOU.SE or DEVIANTART - To use all of the site's features, you must link a social media account. Right now we are offering the possibility to link your DEVIANTART or TOYHOU.SE accounts.

Now you're done! You can buy MYO slots now, draw art, participate in events, or do anything else you'd like to do! :o)

OBTAINING A MYO SLOT

There are many ways of obtaining an MYO slot, but the easiest way would be to purchase one with in-game currency from the shop! No real money is required! 
Though, it is also possible to obtain slots through raffles, events, and much more!

We also offer the option to buy an MYO slot in the Discord using real money, but this is totally optional

CREATING YOUR LUMINITE

So, now you've got an MYO slot and want to make your Luminite. Great!

Now that you have one, we can make your character. Before that, you'll have to read up on some rules to ensure your character complies with the species guidelines.

  1. HERE you can see how to properly make a Luminite.
  2. HERE you can see all the Luminite traits currently available.
  3. HERE you can read up on the lore (not mandatory, but highly recommended)
  4. HERE you can read about what each item does. This is important!

Now that you read all of that, you can ACTUALLY start making your MYO!

  1. Go HERE and click on your MYO slot.
  2. On your left side, click the SUBMIT MYO DESIGN button.
  3. Create an MYO approval request. 
  4. Input whatever is necessary! If you want your MYO to have a rare trait but your MYO can only have COMMON and UNCOMMON traits, you must add an ITEM that allows you to have RARE traits. 
  5. SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST! Afterward, the mods will review them and check if everything is alright. If yes, then your request will be approved. If not, it will be declined. If you're unsure, you may send your MYO to the trait check channel in our server so you can make sure everything looks good before submitting!
  6. And you're done! Now you have a Luminite. 

SUBMITTING ART TO THE GALLERY

Wow! So you drew someone's Luminite? That's very kind of you, now I'm going to teach you how to submit it to the gallery.

First, you have to decide which gallery you'll be submitting your art to, if you're not sure, read our handy guide down below

  • QB REDEMPTION
    • Only art made as gifts and art trades may be submitted here, you cannot submit art of YOUR luminite! In exchange, you will be granted QUBITS*.
  • GENERAL GALLERY
    • You may submit any kind of luminite art here! You may submit commissions, your art, etc. You will NOT be granted QUBITS for doing so.
  • GENERAL PROMPT GALLERY
    • Here you can submit the art for the general prompts you've done! Note: you will NOT get qb when you submit your art to this gallery, you will get awarded qubits on your PROMPT SUBMISSION.
  • EVENT SEASONAL PROMPT GALLERY
    • Here you can submit the art for the seasonal or event prompts you've done! Note: you will NOT get qb when you submit your art to this gallery, you will get awarded qubits on your PROMPT SUBMISSION.

You've decided which gallery you're going to submit your art to? great! now we can actually start:

  1. Go to the GALLERY page
  2. Click on the + button of the associated gallery
  3. Add your title, description, image (or text if you're submitting that!), character, who you drew it for, etc
  4. Then, if you're submitting your art for QB REDEMPTION add your CRITERION*
  5. After you've done all of this, click submit and you're done!


*How do I add a criterion?

Click the ADD CRITERION button, select a Criterion, and then pick your criterion options.
If your art has a background, add another criterion and choose the BACKGROUND ADD-ON option.

SUBMITTING PROMPTS
Do you want to submit a prompt? Excellent, here you can find out all about that!

We have YEAR ROUND and SEASONAL/EVENT prompts.

YEAR ROUND prompts can be done anytime, while SEASONAL or EVENT prompts are only available during that season/event.
Submitting works the same for both seasonal and year-round prompts.

  • BEFORE SUBMITTING A PROMPT
    • Find the prompt you want to do, READ THE RULES OF THE PROMPT! To do this, click the SHOW DETAILS button on said prompt.
      If you do not read this, you might do the prompt incorrectly and we will not accept it.
  • HOW TO SUBMIT
    • When submitting art, please first submit your work to another site (Imgur, DeviantArt, etc.) and then send a link to the image under the Submission URL section. When submitting writing, you may either upload your literature to another site or copy and paste it into the Comments box Be sure to fill out the CRITERON for each prompt you fill out!
  • AFTERWARDS
    • You will get awarded and you can also submit the prompts in the GALLERY, but you will not receive QB from submitting those images in the gallery since you already submitted them as prompts.
